..:Camaraderie was built in Kg Sg Getan, Cameron:..

camaraderie means mutual trust, also can be called friendship..
thats what occured in cameron, the cold light of day is to meet with the aborigin, mingle with them, live their life, learn their cultures and identify their difficulties, especially about the facilities in their village..

on my way to Cameron, i kept thinking how was the environment there..
do they live in the bamboo-made shelter?
how remote their settlement is?
do they hunt for food?
do they have toilet? (most thinking of..haha)
once we at Cameron, all i can see is an untouched wood and vegetables farm..
the only village, or i can say a small town, that we passed through is Kg Raja, seem like it is the only settlement in that area..
but once the bus driver took the path that can be only fit a single 4 wheels vehicle at a time, it took us about half an hour..huhu
great!! it is like what i thought, this place is very remote, even celcom that is known to provide the best coverage cannot reach here..(huhu my bro keje celcom ma, promot sket)
but it is ok for me, i rarely use my phone unless my family called me, and for sure they didnt gonna to because all of them were having a holiday in Penang (Cameron is better..hee)

our arrival was most welcome by them..but some of them show the cold shoulder,
maybe because we are strangers or maybe because they were shy..

but one thing that is hard to believe is almost all of the house have an Astro..go lah!!
maybe because they did not get a local tv signal..

they have the basic facilities such as water and electricity..the water sources is free, which was being pumped from the hill nearby..

.:two weirdo:.

most of the people here work as farmers..some of them have their own farm and the rest work for chinese farmer..
this chinese farmer actually lease the land from them because these aborigin is lack of knowledge in market the vegetables..
we also took the chance to visit each house, get on with all people in this village..

next task is cook for the dinner..haha
its not odd for men to hold the spatula, even a man who have a mouth like woman, Gordon Ramsay of course, is a great cook..haha im being sexist here..

night at Cameron is so cold, even the boiled water can be drink at instant..
when it came to dawn, i woke up for subuh..
when i went for wuduk, the water is icy, i felt numb on my finger once the water contact with my hand, i dont know how its gonna be if i take a shower at that time..huhu
when i need to perform a solah, i cant stand still because my leg kept shaking but i just perform it hoping that it will stop in the middle of solah..but nah, i cant stop shaking from beginning until the end of solah..i dont know how the people here can survive in this environment..

.:2nd day start with "rewang":.

.:subhanallah:.

during lunch, more and more people came to join us, they were more friendly compared to day before..
at maghrib, most of the villagers came for solah together, and we manage to organize a tahlil soon after..
.:having lunch together:.

.:dinner after tahlil:.

before we go home, the villagers gave us some vegetables as a gift..
thank you to Mr Zaidi for giving us his best effort to keep us in comfort..may Allah bless of you and your family and all of Kg Sg Getan dwellers..

.:this trip is fully sponsored by Asrama Darul Falah(ASDAF):.
